All figures are great painted.
The most I like are the thin weapons.
They look mor real to me.
Well done figures and horses.

Incredible results!! Only using basic colours and black!!
I love your figs, would like to have them by myself to increase my own medieval hosts :):)

I believe you had problems with weapons and accessories of the Mars figures ..the provided material is horrible..How did you manage to equipe them??
At last-good point with the Tumbling Dice horses, they are very beautiful..I also have many of them and also figures..
It is strange that they are not so widespread , and almost not pictured available in their web or in the net..They are nice figures and not so expensive for metal..they are quite good for speacial units or charachters; not so brilliant as Valdemar for example but nice addition to a collection in my honest opinion)

Great progress. These are "bad" figures but you make them look fantastic!

Thank you for rating!
Yes, the weapons of "Mars" terrible. More precisely - the quality of manufacturing. And I fixed it very simply: it is a copy of the weapon from Valdemar, from the resin. And some shields are Tumbling Dice, also pitch. There is no other option, because I need a lot of weapons for the figures. But the spears - homemade) I have not yet posted a photo of foot sergeants, it is especially clearly seen how many accessories were needed.
A horse from Tumbling Dice - suitable for all figures and a wide variety. Quality - I agree, worse than Valdemar.

Yes, you are absolutely right! These figures are for a diorama. While I want to paint all the kits in this series, on Grünwald.

By the way, there is one interesting moment in the last horse figures: pay attention to the coat of arms of a knight with an ax, whose horse is on its hind legs.
In late September, my relatives and I traveled to Germany, Bavaria. On the day of departure we walked around Munich and passed by the city gates (I don’t remember their name):

And now, look at the last photo in the upper left corner))
This coat of arms, I decided to draw on my figures long before the trip to Bavaria)))

What gorgeous Teutonic Knights!

And the fact that you started out with Mars Figures renders your achievement all the more impressive! You have a painting style all of your own, and it is really fantastic.

Thank you!
That started from Mars - because there is no alternate.
I am interested in Tannenberg, because a large number of soldiers from different areas and different nationalities took part there. Agree, where any French or English knight to meet on the battlefield with the Tatar-Mongolian warrior?)) Due to this, fewer repetitions of figures. And when you do too long for one and the same figure - it bothers you)))
Almost all the figures in the Middle Ages - this is the 13th century, or the second half of the 15th, in the Rose or Burgundy war. And Mars has filled this "gap". And this does not suit me in any way.

I would like to see a step-by-step for removing the ill-formed Mars weapons and replacing them with superior items as you have done. Again, really marvelous results.
