New to me is that the 3,7 Pak can hover over the ground. The wheeled German cars take her cobblestone always with it? But the most unknown surprising fact is that the Vickers 6 ton tank are able to drive on top of the corn.

Ok, that is the trouble for war gamer. I see.
But why do the wheeled cars need a base and the tanks not ?

W39 system does not require bases for vehicles. That is only my manner. Based models are mine, without bases - club's. But for the game it doesn't matter. I make bases from magnetic strips, because of safe transport. My tanks move on grass bases, for truck and armored cars I use dirt or cobblestone roads. The world of wargaming has to be simplyfied, so sometimes guns hover, tanks fly over wheat field and cobbled road move fast.

The war gamers delight is cutting up the door mats before someone wipes their feet on them. :-D

War Gaming is fire and maneuver and therefore not static like dioramas.
Thank you for posting. It is very interesting to see the table top game.BB
