I now got the Don Cossack from Mars. In my stash laying for years the Bosnian WWII troops, dessert Italians as the Zvezda set of Romanian soldiers. Slovak helmet are available from Miniairons.
There are several more options by conversions possible.

So I decide to do in 2019 a few of German small allies Dio.
A looong planed overdue.
So up to the headline of this post.
My question is ?

What are your ideas, plans or not yet mentioned things for 2019 in our hobby ?

This year I have started basing my older Ancients for DBA. This was quite nice and make them look very cool, keeping in mind, that my style of painting changed in the last 20 years.

Now I will start a tour into Black Powder and for this I am going to assemble the Prussian Amy 1. Korps of the Army of the Lower Rhine 1815. Most of the figures have to be painted for the first time. Only a few can be repainted. For me a big project. :eh: :eh: :eh: :-D :-D

I am not so active like the most of you, but in 2019 my plans are:
- post one figure on my blog every month
- paint more Romain solders from the Asterix range, goal is 50 extra for FIGZ (200 total)
- organize FIGZ, and running the dueling section here (help Mr. X 2019)
- enjoy life as much as I can!

Keep me alive and with the brushes in hand, to pass more often here and that the friends of the forum do not forget me ... many figures in 54mm, some bust and some scenes in the queen scale, 1/72.
Santi.

I will add to my WW2 armies, paint some more Zulus and maybe get to add to my SYW Austrians if HaT releases what looks like being some good sets.

Our annual project is the mega game for the Train and Hobby Show in August. This year will be the ECW. I've made a good start but there's Black Houses to do, hills to make, several more units to acquire and paint.

Each year we spend quite a bit of time and a lot of effort in our Show game......and it's worth it!

Where we are so far.
The minimum who we will see in 2019 Is:

MABO:
Prussian Amy 1. Korps of the Army of the Lower Rhine 1815. A big project!

Dad`s Army:
- organize FIGZ, and running the dueling section here (help Mr. X 2019) :yeah:
- post one figure on my blog every month.

Peter:
Stay alive !
With that announcement a wide range of options are possible.

Santifernandez:
Some scenes in the queen scale, 1/72.

PhilC:
To paint characters from the movie Avatar.

Emperor:
Less stress also... (we will see a figure in an undefined scale "less stress") :-D

Paul:
Drink myself into a Stupor as often as possible.
And show us the day after the painted results from the start of each session?

Kekso:
I have one snow covered, fantasy diorama in my mind. Maybe I'll make it in 2019. Maybe.
What about to cancel the word- Maybe, twice ?

Old Wolf:
To paint more 1/72s and post them on the forum.
So we will see 1/72s what ever.

Ochion:
Some WWII and Zulu figures.

Wiking:
Small allied Dio.

Apart from staying alive and enjoying all your fantastic works here in the forum, my main project for 2019 will be a new 1/72 diorama again with the Swiss Vatican Guard as protagonist. I'm still in the preparation stage of figure conversions. As soon as I finish them, I'll post more information about it.

My very best wishes for a happy new year to all the friends of the forum. :merrychristmas:

Santi.

Sory old chap..no pics as I´ll most probablly be at the wine bar, then the pub, then the club and finally, if the hip flask is empty, crawling past the off licence to keep the evening going.
