Strelets added more completed figures to their site today.
This time for the regular set #169 - "Nap. Prussian Landwehr at ease".

We'll get 13 privates & 5 command poses, so 44 figures in total.
3 sprues grunts & 1 sprue command works fine for me, but may be considered unbalanced by others.

Anyway, this seems to be another worthwhile addition to Blüchers & Gneisenaus troops.

Absolutely. I think they are a realy good to have. Standing Landwehr is a gap to fill.

Set #168 - Nap. Prussian Landwehr on the march

http://www.strelets-r.com/Pages/Set.aspx?SetID=330&M=S

12 privates (x3) and 5 command poses, 41 figures in total.

These sets offer great value & diversity when compared to Häts recent attempts.

Hope that Strelets will follow their previously performed route and provide both, advaning & firing lines for their Prussian Line Infantry & Landwehr range. :winky:

Although I tend to eschew HaT-bashing, their recent Landwehr figures are not great. Mine, unusual for me, languish unpainted.

These figures have possibilities & look to fit in well with my hordes of HaT Prussian line infantry.

17 poses in total. Quite action-heavy, but we'll see an extra set with marching poses (#192) as well. :yeah:

Sculpting and mould are so good. Not my period, but that’s not important. Like the Strelets output!

Looks as they have improved with sculpting muskets. These Landwehr sets really look like being worth a try. What I would really love to see is Landwehr - and their French counterparts - in close combat poses. Like on this pic for example:https://www.flickr.com/photos/drakegoodman/4201200199

Set M077, Spartacus Army.
Not included in PSRs list of presently upcoming Strelets sets.
Maybe a surprise or a preview of what can be expected to come with their first 2019 batch?

12 poses are great value for so-called Mini-sets.

A long awaited set. Now there is only M091 Caesar Army in Battle II missing to fill the gaps in the lists.

Stretlets have in my opinion really have ramped up the quality of their product.

I would only hope that the ' scale issue' is not a problem. The Guard Grenadiers were a great disappointment due to their diminutive height.

Those Landwher would have been great for my Ligny project.

Best wishes,

Chris

Set #185 "Foot Rif Rebels".

3x 12 warrior poses and 5 command poses, 41 figures in total.

Again, a great variety of useful figures and very nice sculpting quality.

Will definetly buy a box or two. They will form a cornerstone for any prospective late 19. to mid 20. century scenarios located in North Africa or Arabia.
