Bannockburn Project

Posted by Michael Robert on 11 May 2018, 19:37

How I love all these Knights with their crests. Just great.
Very curious whether this project will end one day - to my mind it may go on a long time getting richer and richer. Nevertheless, Paul, you will surprise us with a final firework of pictures, no?

Keep on the good work!
Michael

I´ve promised (on another Forum) to do an Audit at some Point in the near future of my entire Collection..possibly only the medievals as it would mean a lot of pics of the entire Collection. The "Bannockburn-Scottish wars" Project is similar to my other Projects..it gets abandoned in favour of older or new ones, then I come back with new ideas and add to it...in other words..it gets bigger and bigger with no end planned or in sight :-)

Example..from 3 years ago, just the mounted medievals, 100 plus. Not included in the Pictures, Norman, Burgundian, Teutonic, Crusader and Almoravid cavalry, plus any that have been added since or hadn´t(still haven´t) been based--another 200+(?)

I second that. Why not take them to the FIGZ? Would be great to see them eye to eye!

Yes, these are a lot of great créations. Since everybody is unique with his crest I think you can make more individuals or small groups - you probably have already

Just great knights

These are a magnificent sight massed together like that and I'm mightily impressed by all of the Heraldic devices.

Not entirely sure I believe that. Still, always happy to see a Murray. :-)

It's also nice to see the other feller looking like a Scot's lord rather than a Highland cowheard who's just been to the face painting tent.
