Hat Baggage Camels

Posted by FredG on 12 Feb 2018, 15:24

I had a look on Models 2u site to check their price on the Unmarried Zulus ( purely out of curiosity) and noticed they are taking pre-orders for Baggage Camels ( Zulu Wars). As these camel trains didn't change since forever they'll suit any period. The roughs on the Hat site look promising.
Never mind my :eh: seeing them under Zulu wars. I'll no doubt be after some of these when they appear.

Well that is good news, but nothing on the Hat site to confirm it. To the best of my knowledge there were no camels used during the Zulu war, the Sudan,Afghanistan,Arabia etc saw extensive use of camels, but as long as they are made who cares what category people put them in.

Maybe Hat used the crowdfunding for the Zulus for finishing this set? I heard that the Zulus still not by the persons who supported that crowdfunding. Would be nice that they fix that first before they throw new sets on the market. No?

If HaT release a set, I'm going to paint mine in pea dot colours.

I'll call it, Camelflage.
