It was a delight to paint this set.

The base may be textured at a later date. At present the table has been commandeered by another set.

Something was bothering me about these Uhlans then this morning I realised I hadn't added the oak leave clusters to the base of the plumes. Silly me.

So here they are complete.

I finally got round to sorting the base. I think they look a little better now.

Yes they're Newline Donald.

I've noticed Sean has some Austrian Engineers coming out soon too. Will the stash ever reduce in size?

Fred, I gave my reasonably sizeable Austrian Napoleonic army away a few years ago.
I figured with French, Anglo-Dutch, Russian & Prussian I had enough to be going on with.

I miss them though..... (Newline engineers? You could do Aspern!)

What a fabulous combination of colours in those uniforms, and I'm a sucker for a czapka. Splendid looking troops and they really look like they mean buisiness . Very nice job on these.

The veriagated colours of grass on the base look great too.
