Great painting job - and if they are really hard plastic instead of the rubbery stuff they used to sell then I'll be getting some.

Impressive new zulus! I can´t wait to see them hopefully soon in the shops too.
And your painting and group building is still more impressive well done - thanks for your posting.

Once again you've really done a fine job with these figures. Very impressive poses and great painting, it will no doubt encourage a lot of interest in this set.

kaktus--

As others have said, fantastic paint and photos you have made with these unmarried Zulus. My favorites are the mounted figure and the warrior with the captured red tunic.

Terrific paintjob, these really look good. The faces are great! I particularly like the grizzled beard on that bonus figure.

These look like a very nice set of figures but I might have to trim down the point on one of those assegais, it looks very big.

Can you tell us how hard the hard plastic is? Is it like the normal soft plastic we get in most sets and like HaT used to use before they moved to the rubbery stuff. Or is it hard hard plastic like the guns in HaT's WWI artillery sets?

I suppose I'll find out soon enough, I've already bought a couple of boxes but, just curious.

Thank you all. In my opinion this plastic is like in Esci figures sets. If you kow what I mean.

Thanks for the reply.

I think I can work with that. And HaT have said that the plastic will still be formulated to be paintable and gluable so it's sounding quite good.

I also congratulate. Wonderful paintjob. I have also pledged for this set and now I have no regrets about doing so.

Excellent job, they look very lifelike. My favourite is the leader. So these figures will only be sold through their website?

P.S: If I may ask you, how did HaT contact you to test paint the soldiers?

No, once produced these figures should be available for general sale by regular dealers.

But two of the figures shown here, the mounted Induna and the Induna on foot, are metal bonus figures for the people who took part in the crowd funding appeal which has closed now.
