Photobucket fix!

Posted by Beano Boy on 07 Jul 2017, 21:19

I received via machine 6 e-mails from Photobucket, today within four hours informing me that my account has been restricted so their spamming is upon the rise daily,i am therefore directing anymore into the spam box where I will not see this blackmail irritation of share greed. Perhaps everyone should spam them with e-mails just saying,"The all seeing (i) knows."BB

Putting the slant upon fix!

The Photobucket honey pot based in Colorado!

is due to fill up with Trillions of USA Dollars as a year in advance bank payments flow into it from all around the world.

Photobucket Legally fixed it into place on June 1st 2017.
By Jan 1st 2019 all enjoying 3rd Party Posting will be paying the top dollar price.

The stormy front I mentioned before in chit chat, saw our region of the UK receiving over 7000 Lightning strikes according to news.

:sst: "another storm is expected to role in here soon."

:-D I must therefore get prepared for it.BB

Photobucket have curtailed my participation @ Bennos.
I'm pleased with the many photos I've put on the forum & to see them gone makes me feel it's been a waste of time.

Not Bennos fault....maybe they should sue PB?

By way of my blog,Facebook and other sites,I have advocated blocking up Photobuckets personal postal handling service by way of protest, and legal "Cease & Desist Documents! "
These can be written legally and signed by witnesses.

I have just found out Photobucket has merged with Photobox UK, which should be of grave concern to many. I have just discovered writer authors cannot gain access to their written work on Photobucket.
This is an infringement upon Copyright Law of any nation.
So my advice write out "Cease & Desist Documents ",and use your own country`s Mailing Postal Service,and not by E,Mail.

E,Mails can be deleted by one touch on a keyboard.
Whereas millions of world wide mail arriving daily will clog up their own handling department in Colorado. Truck loads swamping them knee deep in protest and they will be hard put to sift out their own personal expected mail too. No one business could handle and open up such mail.
So I advocate swamping them daily in protest mail for the price of a postage stamp. That should hit the Daily News,and spoil the look on the faces of those fat cat blackmailers in Colorado..:-D BB

This is the Code with the Picture not 3rd Party linked
http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae75 ... crqzxl.jpg
and this is with the fix
http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae75 ... g~original
The same Code but with ~original added between jpg and the IMG

Just in case anyone is using the original pic codes from PB and adding ~original I noticed something.

I added the ~original between jpg and the IMG bar and when I previewed all that came up was;
Image
On closer inspection %20 had appeared between the jpg and the added ~original. The last part of the pic Code looked like this ;
jpg%20~original[/img]
Remove the %20 and the Picture appears as normal as below
Image

So it seems to go like this;

A. Transfer pic Code from PB to here
B. add the fix ~original
C. wrap in the IMG´s
D. Preview and the %20 appears (I think it´s a internal Forum fix to stop pics being too big)
E. remove the %20
F. Preview to see if it´s worked
G. Submit

Dear Paul thank you for fixing my Cushing's picket boat. :notworthy: If I don't ask much, please delete my last post in Cushing's picket boat thread. There is no reason to be there.

I have taken time out to view older posts on Tutorials and elsewhere, and lots of members topics lay void of pictures now. Many of my photographs are still there in my topics, but other members work are a waste-land of topics now making very little sense at all.

Mrs B, kindly bought me a Window WD Backup Hard-drive of 4 terabytes,So my home PC system is now 6 terabytes so I have extra storage space for written work files,and photographs. Lots more than I will certainly ever need.

It is only posting to Forums that is a mainstay problem for the many world wide, myself included.
For now I have two good choices upon free-posting pictures here. :-D
So I am most happy to continue to support this most pleasing place.
However what the near future holds for those using 3rd party postage is anyones guess.
It most certainly must be of concern for Benno,at this time. BB

Sorry i pressed the submit button before writing the text.

I was cruising my older topics and upon doing so saw that with the black mail endured for well over two years since Photobucket froze my account they have now plastered their address right across the pictures ruining any possible enjoyment in viewing them. I therefore feel that i should close my account with them, whipping out my pictures now advertising their service. After all this is free advertising upon this Forum. Drat and Double Drat. BB
