Today I want to show you pictures of Le Caillou, Napoleons Headquarter at Waterloo. I visited the Location two weeks ago.

Burned by the Prussians so that it never again would harbour Napoleon. The Prussians don't appear to have been too chuffed with Boney.
I don't think the farmer would have been too chuffed with the Prussians either

Odd how Napoleon surrendered himself to the English for his personal safety after Waterloo. Hard to imagine something like that happening today.

The Prussians wanted Boney in front of a firing squad, they really didn't like him did they. The only one I know to be spared the firing squad by the personal intervention of Blucher was Larrey.

Well I am pretty sure Napoleon hurt the Prussians's feelings at Jena in 1806.

And apparently Napoleon treated Prussia worse after 1806 than he had done with any previously defeated nation...

A wonderfull museum, I really can recomment it for a visit.

The building was protected by a part of the old guard, with a Dutch Major During in command.
