Yes, the three guys look as if they are hopping around. But they do not just look like they do it, too! As far as I know, it is the big red aggressive ants crawling around in their pants. That hurts .... ;-)

And again a small update for this project.

The base was painted with acrylic paints by Vallejo. Foliage, ivy, fence and gate were painted with oil paints. Then some small parts such as twigs, bottles, etc. have been glued on. After that the road was dusty with pigments from the manufacturer Mig. I hope you enjoy the images.

Now I will still stick the name plate for the base. Then I will age the vehicle and stick it on. After that, only the figures are missing. These are still painted. Let's see how it all fits together ....

Have fun. :-D

Beano Boy, the work with the photo etched parts 'gate' and 'fence' has given me a lot of fun. And the work is not at all complicated. Do you already have experience to work with photo etched parts?

You only need a sharp scalpel and / or a metal scissors. A fine metal arrow is still optimal. Superglue to glue. Finished!

I think that many things can only be represented by photo etched parts. Particularly in vehicle construction or in the construction of diorama basis as in the present case.

Here are the links to the two products I used:

Wish you a lot of fun and good luck with the construction of 'Catton Hall'.

A final update follows for this project. The figures are painted. The name plate was attached to the wooden base. As a last step the vehicle as well as the figures were glued on. Finished!

In the last picture you can see the individual work steps again. I hope you enjoyed the project.

Have fun. :-D
