A week ago STRELETS ask me for painting their new AUXILARIES range.
Today the first test figs arrived.
Very nice figs!!!

Thank you, Konrad for posting these sprues. I think you will do a good job on the Auxiliaries. In my eyes all the upcomming sets from Strelets are very good. Except the Spartacus figures, which seems to be stuck in a former period, that is now far away.

You made my decision easy... to buy ;-) (at least Highlanders)

Yup. Although it is less important, it is funny how they waste plastic for such thick sprues.

Guys, guys, don't judge like that!

Strelets sprues are very useful because of their thickness and softness.
It is perfect to make drums, baskets and canteens:

It comes in different thickness and its free :yeah:

Those sprues should be used to replace all those ridiculous tiny drums of the French Italeri and Esci drummers like these:

Happy modeling :-D

I never throw away sprues. But I rarely use them, either. Good suggestion Mr. Cryns.

I think you can melt a sprue and stretch it to make a long antena for a tank's radio, as well.

That's what I do. But not all kinds of plastic are useful for this.
