AWI Continental Army 28mm

Posted by Kekso on 17 Apr 2017, 20:39

A break from Nappies. Awesome figures from Warlord Games. Different heads have different facial expression  and figures aren't so chunky as most of 28mm historical.
I regret that I didn't make blue more darker :( and I noticed too late that drum is upside down
Despite that I hope you'll enjoy it. Critics and comments are more than welcome

So these are the guys spreading the way for Donald Trump to enrich the world with his charismatic blessings only a few hundreds of years later! :affraid:

Kekso these are very nice figures, good proportions indeed. And your painting is nice and bright.
I especially like your detailed work at the officers breasts/fronts.

Your initial color looks fine. Your highlight color was probably applied a little excessive.

It is never too late to turn that drum around and fix some minor damage to your paintingwork. :-D

Nice work again.

Wonderful painting. While the blue is a bit on the light side it is still quite pleasing to look at given paint job at a whole. All the figures look great and blend well together. It is a bit tough getting shots of the faces but what I can make out looks real nice. What are your plans for basing? Do they get full treatment of grass etc or are they left as is?

Thank you all for your nice comments.

@Rich. I painted them for a friend. He is happy as they are. So there won't be any additions on bases... at least not from me.

I like them very much, Dalibor. You are right that the colour of the uniform could have been a little darker, but that is no big thing.
