RIP little paint brush

Posted by FredG on 01 Feb 2017, 21:14

My favourite paintbrush has worn out. I will observe 12 hours mourning before attempting to break in a new one. I have a whip and chair at the ready.
Wish me luck.

New brushes never quite work as well as the tried and true one!

AH-HA! Yes good old faithful, bites the dust! However I always keep the handles and use them for other purposes within my world of dreamy toy making activities. BB

I tried out the new one, luckily the whip and chair weren't necessary.
It finished off the detail on this little crew.

My favorite brush got saturated with dried acrylic paint that water won't dissolve. Otherwise it is probably okay. Anyone have advice to help me out?

I did not have any Vallejo airbrush cleaner, but I did find some Tamiya Acrylic thinner XT-40 that I bought YEARS ago. It worked like a charm. Old faithful is back in action.
