Well guys let's start with the bad news...

This was the last duel with mr. X, but even worse I lost
But the good news is I can tell you who mr.X was, and that I am glad he did win.
His paintjob was suberb, the horn was just perfect!!!!

I bought this figure (Peter was standing next to me, telling he didn't know who mr. X was) in Antwerpen on the last Crisis as a thank you figure for all the work mr. X had done.
The fun part was that I could give the figure right away, mr. X had made a photo already for me and I only had to pick out my favorite.
Since I prefer non violent figures, I picked out "Inga" even if I found out at home she had a sword hanging on her belt. But then I tought how to paint her, and at that moment my GF said to me, give her a FIGZ shirt....
I think it was a great idea, so I also want to thank her for that.
Even I didn't get enough votes, the FIGZ promo girl was a cool entry, if I may speak for my self, hahaha.
And I have a figure to post next year on my blog as well, so I am happy with the result.

Now you're thinking, shut up and tell us who this person was who did all these duels this year.
Okey I will tell you, it was my good friend Jan better known as Mabo here....
Thanks Jan for all the duels, you can focus on the groupbuild now ;-)
Congratulations on your win, you deserve it!!!

My last word is to wish our new mr. X lots of fun next year, let's hope more voters and duelers will come.
Thanks all for voting, and Jan for the duels!

Did vote on the Promo girl, but, sorry Remco, Inga was better painted. Great job, Jan! And you really deserve a very nice vacation now! I know Remco said the opposite, but in my opinion! ;-)

Mabo for a whole year, even yesterday, I wondered why you don't paint figures and post pictures of it at Benno's. But now I understand, now I understand.
Nice work. And respect from your Dutch colleague.

But it must be said the Figz shirt painted by Dad deserves respect too.
Dad has more talents than will be admitted by himself, thats clear.

Congrats to both for a great December duel. That FIGZ shirt on Remco's entry is a real crowd-pleaser, so it must mean that MABO's (Jan's) brushwork was truly exceptional.

Hello all together!

First of all: Congratulations to you Remco. I love the idea of Inga the FIGZ PROMO Bunny. And so the last duel was a real close thing.

Being Mr. X was funny and I was honored that I could win some of the duels against tough forummembers.
The rest of the year was full of work and privat stuff left little time for painting little figures. So in 2016 I keep collecting rather than being creative. The duels have been a motivation.

I wish the new Mr.X lots of fun and I am curious to see the different entries.

Great last duel, and you may all know that I voted for the FIGZ shirt! :-D

I really didn't now that Jan was Mr X. I only knew that it had to be someone with a very big collection! Great work Jan!

And I hope the new mr X will have as much fun as we had doing these duels! ;-)
