@Luis A masterpeace. I want to ask something. Is there any chance that I can make a diorama by using perry miniatures or oniria like on this painting? http://static.rs.n1info.com/Picture/853 ... loumov.jpg I think there is around 30 men that are in first plan of painting.

Stunning detail and shading. An interesting choice of subject to depict too.

@Luis-Yes I have a quite dificulty with this painting. Poses are quite dynamic, it is hard to find figures that are in similar poses. So I need somebody to help me find those poses. I already tried, but it is too many work, and demands conversion of figures which will not turn so good in the end. This painting is painted long long after the battle occurred, battle was in August of 1806, the painting is painted in the eve of WW2 during 1938 for which is the evidence with author signature in the right lower corner on one of broken cannons. How ever the painting is idealized vision of the battle, since it doesn't depicture battle as it was back then. Also the leader of rebels the man with saber pointing in the direction of charge is depicted in classical romantic view. In reality he was with infantry with sharpshooters and the charge of cavalry was under command of two other officers who were priests.

@Luis- I don't want to take away time from you Luis, since I am sure you have many interesting projects. Only thing I need is a web address where I can see catalogue of Perry Miniatures and Oniria figures for period of Napoleon Turkish army and Greek revolution if there are that period of figures. The poses doesn't need to be the exact as in the painting, all I want is to create a dynamic situation in the diorama as you did.

I think this is better than Oniria's own version!

thank you for your comments.
But for me both the sculpture of his figures ( Oniria ) and his compositions are the best there is currently on the market .
