Munitions Train

You might recall that I made mention of e-mailing AIRFIX?

WEll I recieved an e-mail from AIRFIX ,
Which clearly stated because I`d sent to many e-mails in the course of 10 minutes,
that they had black listed my e-mail address ___making it not possible for me to send an e-mail.
This they informed me was taken to avoid abuse.
It was caused by their e-mailing system not through any fault of mine.
Yes I realize that it was a machine that sent that e-mail.
So the eccentric Cowboy, was correct it went into the SPAM FILTER BOX! :cowboy: " Yip! As sure as recalling how I shot off my right toe while reaching for my new gun, I said that would happen BB."

:coffee: " You sure did Pard!"

After 24 hours that ban was lifted and so I requested the three parts needed for me to finish my last Panzer VI Mk II.

This could be a cleaver ploy on their part.
Let a Machine handle it this way.
If people with complaints give up sending request e-mails to AIRFIX,
AIRFIX, would save time and more to the point money. BB

BITS & PIECES

It was just turning 10 PM,and another freezing night, had descended upon Fiddle Wood. I had cut the first parts that make up the hulls off earlier,so I had a nice head start as I began gluing up the first one.

Image

I had decided to work and complete all six at the same time.

Image

They were all completed a little before 2 AM.

Image

I have some track to make from Green Stuff to add frontal protection on all these later. BB

My parts needed from AIRFIX,arrived today in a blister pack. It is an automated computer system so no real customer service as such. After sending me three E-mails the machine then informs those at the end of the line, the parts that are needed.

I think they are great. Unfortunately they has been sold out at the crisis. So I have to wait a little before I can add them to my Desert War Collection.

I saw Jans,`as in the Link above', painted up and decided to add two boxes
These are for the Allied Train.

I am so slow at learning PC skills, after all these years on the Forum
I have only just found out how to put a Link to another topic. ;-) BB

My package arrived with damage to the cardboard box both halftrack kits were packed up in. I always photograph damaged packages in order to supply proof by E Mail.
This is good advice to pass on.
As you can see one box got wacked good and proper, but all sprues were A OK inside. :-D
I bought these two on Model Hobbies, and saved £10.00,by not trading on E Bay!

Image

These six halftracks will suit my needs just right. BB

With the rattling of heavy railway bogies riding the rails once again ......

Image

….. and after two years of absence I returned to fudge out information concerning the metal shield of the smaller anti-aircraft gun on view and the 1/76 scale armoured car.
So i thought I`d add the new photographs here. i am glad the old AIRFIX Company that went bust in the early 1980`s had the foresight to do stuff in this scale. A simple kit for me. ;-)

I need to find the gunner his seat and re-fix them.

There are quite a few pictures missing. Obliterated photographs from this old topic, casualties due to the Freepost Wars of 2016. I wonder who won?
I`m running a few trains and chilling out between writing stuff.
:coffee: A much easier pace of living for me from now on.Gunnar will understand why? BB

i guess 3 pictures left are better than none.
How many pictures of yours are left on this Forum?
Possibly some have given up posting or even visiting us altogether.
i believe that we could all make this Beanno`s Figure Forum,
a great little place again.

In my Regimental G Squadron we had a saying when things got rough.
It was and still is Carborundum, which had the hidden meaning of
Don`t Let The Bast..ds Wear You Down. BB
