Warhammer Ellyrian Reaver

Posted by Peter on 20 Oct 2016, 16:42

Painted this one in 2013. I painted this one for my oldest son when he had a Warhammer project with a friend of him.

Problem to paint this figure was that it was assembled and I could't undo that. If I had done that, it would be damaged. So it was very difficult to paint some parts of this figure.

I hope you like it! ;-)

Great work Peter. Bright, neat, crisp.

Yeah, that's the case with many WH figures. You can choose to paint them disassembled or assembled. Both ways aren't too easy.

I like the subtle tone of the armour. Is that metallic paint or grey?

Everything is fine but I admire the way you painted the difficult blues.

Wonderful paint job, Peter. Had you done more of this kind for your son?

Thanks for the kind words!

@Dalibor: You might be right. It wouldn't make much difference. :-D

@Emperor: the one you painted has a sword, mine a bow! ;-)

@Shapeshifter: metallic paint with a black wash! ;-)

@Kostis: it wasn't to hard to paint that blue. Just had to find out how much wash was needed to get it right. :-D

@Jan: a couple. ONe can be seen here on the forum. Two others I didn't post yet here, and one is still in production. I'm doing this a bit for fun and to paint something else in between the real work! ;-) :-D
