Lovely Conversion, and Splendid to see the other model figures painted up too. :thumbup:
i still have match boxes full of heads which i used as patterns way back in the day.
It was the year 2000,when the Young Guard arrived upon the scene. ;-) BB

I have a whole shoebox full of those Esci/italeri French especially for head conversions, but I never considered using the Young Guard set for the bodies. After seeing your results, I might have to give it a go! :mrgreen:

They also match up well with HaT's 1805 French in greatcoats and Revell's Old Guard. You can build up a ton of regular line infantry. Here are some grenadiers as an example:

Yes, I've used the heads with HaT 1805 infantry in greatcoats, too. I just hadn't realised that the possibilities were quite so broad! :-)
