That unpainted figure looks like a toy. That painted figure looks like work of art.

WOW, you painted him fantastic, I paint them the comic style (more single colors).
This is awesome, I wish I could paint like that!
And yes I remember your village as well, it was the insperation for my houses (also a long time project).
About the figures, I don't believe there is a idefix in this plastic series, only in the metal range there is one in the hands of Obelix.
But these are fun to paint, thats for sure!!!
My compliments on this paintjob, fantastic!!!!

I really like the way he turned out. Great shading on the face and beard. Now I need the ingredients for that strength potion...

Wow! That`s the style! Brilliant Painting,i Love it.
Lets make no bones about it these are toy figures, and are as rare as hens teeth.
However they paint up very well indeed.
idefix?. ..................................... :read: "Dogmatix!BB"______
" Thanx Book Worm."___________________ :cowboy: " Yip,there were plastic ones produced."

"You are correct,Hop A Long!"___________ :cowboy: " Yip! I sure am cause I ate one once."

There were three shown on page 4 of my "Topic My Quest for Bubble Gum Figures."
I gave two away ages ago to fellow collectors. :(
 "I bet BB,can find that Mutt Dogalogix!"

Enough of the fun. Now to something serious. tinypics Server is down. For two days I cannot upload Pictures. The Internet is real P`d off,and nothing not even a whisper from Photo Bucket that owns tinypics.

Here is the Mutt from the Asterix Bubble Gum Range of Figures. He looks more Hound Like than the cartoon character idefix, but at 47 years old he is what he is and that's that. No Obelix was ever included in this smaller scale figure collection. BB

.... but getting a bit off topic here, cause it's about the fantastic Panoramix!
