Me liked very much

This was actually my favorite for the final victory, great paintwork, nice work on the base and the set up, positioning of the figures made it very lively. Too bad you didn't win. Better luck next time.

Did I miss anything? Did this take part in the comp? Not that I remember. Or maybe another comp?

It would have had a chance to make it to the finals anyway. Very nicely done. I would have positioned the figs still closer together to make it look even more dramatic. Aha, and maybe the regimental colours would have been gone during the final stand because they tried to save them (two lieutenants on horseback, what were their names?).

@ Je-Tuoche, The colours were taken away by Lts Melville and Coghill , unfurled in a leather case.
@ Capt. Morris, this would have gone far in the comp, very nice painting with some good conversions

Nice work, love the hand painted flag. And as others have said, this should have been in the competition

Hi guys , Thanks for your fast comments. The reason because I didn´t took part in the colonial comp you can see in the next photo.

She is Concha , my first daughter, four mouths old.
However The Grumbler is a fantastic winner.I love his diorama "Patrolling the Veldt" and the comp is only for fun.Now I´m starting a diorama for the comp "on the march".I hope Concha will be good girl.

Looks like you had a very good reason for not being in the contest ;-)
