Star Wars Rey 2D Painting...

Posted by Donald Duck on 08 Jan 2016, 01:21

Hi guys, DD here...

Don't you ever get bored of painting the same figures, with the same uniforms, the same camos, the same techniques and so on?

Well, I have always wondered what it would feel to paint a "traditional" two dimensioned painting instead of a 3D figure... and so I've just edited and printed this image, potraiting Rey from the last SW movie.

Isn't she lovely?

Nice, so this is the beginning...

That's why I paint Nappies. Different uniforms in almost all rainbow colors :xd: :xd: :xd:

Both she and Lea reminds me on a certain girl next door that became a doctor...There is something in that type of girls that attracts a man... Something attractive and provocative... Especially in their dark hair and the way they talk...

@Donald as concerning painting figures, I always like the diorama that comes in my head or the inspiration that others give to me...I enjoy the landscape so I tend to create a landscape...Nothing is so satisfy when you do it exactly as you imagined...Other thing that drives me to paint is that I get that pleasant feeling of being tired after a good work...

Nice job and good exercise and then paint in volume.
It's like painting a flat figure.

Thanks guys. I have never painted a flat figure... the lack of volume was a difficulty in the beginning, but then it became an intresting training. You have to create volumes from nothing. The shoulder was pretty hard, in this way.

Anyway, I made a couple of adjustments, such as the correction on the neck, that was too thick...

Here she is....
