WOW, this was a real fight!
For those who didn't folow it every day, it was real fun!
Sometimes it was mr. Y and the other time it was mr. Andrea!
And that switches every time with some times the same amount of votes.
And now at the end of the duel there are two winners!!!!

Well done mr. Andrea, and well done mr. Y with your extra november duel!
A big hurray for the both of you, I hope it was as much fun for you as it was for me!

Just one duel left for mr. Y.
If there is someone who wants to be the secred painter of 2016
Just sent me a mail: bfduel@gmail.com

Now you can all give your responce on this ended duel!
Thanks for the voters, now let's hear what you all tought of it....

What a pity ....., have just this minute clicked here and it's too late to vote aaaaargh. Sorry lads. Both very nicely rendered but if my opinion is worth anything my vote would go to figure 2.
To substantiate my vote I looked at the cuffs of the two and saw that in the second figure there was some beautifully fine red outlining which helped tip my vote your way. Also thought that the white overalls were a better colour choice as the brown trousers of the first figure clashed a little with the brown of the musket.
Third factor which helped my choice was that in the first figure there was a little hair in the figures shako which for me confirmed that I had made the right choice.
T'was a pity I was a few minutes late !
Sorry .... Whoever you painters may be!!! But you both did a jolly good job on a figure that I personally don't find particularly inspirational.

Now, that was fun... I really enjoyed this duel. It was really really difficult choice and the outcome proves it.

This was a very tough choice for me as both entries were really sharp. I guess you'll have to schedule a rematch!

Wonderful French Infantry. I have in my mind that the other duelist was Mr.Andrea ;-)

Did we already had two winners before?

Congratulations and I hope we will have another Mr.Y next year! :yeah:

I don't know if we should do that. Maybe his looks will scare all of us away?

As far as I know he still has to do 1 duel => December! ;-)

But I'm also curious who the mysterious Mr Y is! Can't wait until the last duel is over to know who he is!
