Hey, seems to be Hoplites-week on the forum :-)

...Here are my first Spartans for a small dio I´m working on: The battle of Thermopylae. Hope you like them...

What color did you use for the shading on the body armor? Is it some kind of dark brown?

! The patterns on the shields were already sculpted, I just had to paint them. For the armor I use a basic coat of Model master gold (enamel) and then I mix black and brown acrylic color with water until it is very dilluted and use it as a wash. Then I add some highlights wit the model master gold. Very simple...
