Thank you both. No I did not think that I will paint the whole box but I also do not want to paint only the minimum of the figures. Let´s see how many I will paint in the end.

Basing is not planed at the moment. Maybe there are so many figs in the end that I can build a little scene with some French Inf. e.g.

Hello friends!

I have nearly finished the Grenadiers of the Nassau GB. I painted the two poses of the big box, which is our main topic, but also all the poses of the older box.

There are only some details: Shading and washing, I recognized after I saw the pics.
Finals will be posted here. I also will bring the Nassau-Inf to the FIGZ.

Next to do are the Voltigeurs:

After that I plan to paint the Prince of Orange and do some conversions. Let´s see.

Today we return from a weekend trip to Gent

Our way back give us the chance to make a short visit in Waterloo

In the Panorama I saw the Nassau-Inf in action so this was a moral buster for me :-D :-D

As always: Comments are welcome. And:... IS THERE STILL SOMEONE WORKING ON THIS GB???

Great work Jan

And I see you visited two nice places in my home country ;-) I lived 18 months in Gent ;-)

I'm not working on them for the moment because I'm occupied with other things. But after FIGZ I will paint them. I started them so i will finish them! ;-)

Gent is so beautiful! My wife and me have visited the city 4 or 5 times. And this time we saw new things, we would like to visit next time.

I saw the Airfix Space Warriors for 15 bucks but incomplete - I decided not to buy them

I am looking forward to see your Nassau Infantry figures. And I also hope to see the figs from some of the other guys. There are a lot of good painted figs to come.

Nice pics MABO but that mound at Waterloo just annoys the #@$#$ out of me, I dislike it when they change the topography of a battlefield (i was so happy when they destroyed that silly tower at Gettysburg) but i digress your work on these figures is really good.

@musketier: The hill is good for the overview from a central position, but of course it is destroying the historical place. But the proud feelings for the Prince of Orange, that have been the reason to build the hill are also already part of history... :?

yeah but.....most people don't get to see the ridge that made up most of Wellington's line, since that's what was used to make the mound. I await the completion of your Nassauers
perhaps I can get to mine soon too

And again a quick news-flash:

I have finished the Voltigeurs of the Nassau Contingent. I have tried to practice blacklining for all the straps consequently, it took me some time to finish but it was fun. Now the marching Fusiliers are the last ones for me to complete the GB.
