Posted by SamSagace on 13 Aug 2011, 22:11

Well... I have time, so I was able to paint a complete set!
It was not easy...
I choose to paint all the shields.... results
No matter, if I never try, I never learn!
All advices and critics are welcome!

They look very good..  You are getting an eye for detail now..the studs on the leather surcoat for instance.

They seem not very decisive though...first they march to the right...then they march to the left.

The detail I like the most is the chainmail-on-the-stick. Has it to dry after a rainshower or what?
These look really nice. But I wouldn't have made the pictures in that way - the red-brown stone in the background gives the whole scenery sort of a strange colour if you know what I mean.

Great work Pascal,

I like the idea of them marching back and forth! Maybe they need some scouts?!

Thanks Karl!!!
a scout??? why not...
(but someone did a very good one: http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4968; I'm not sure to be able to make a better one!! )

a GPS ? Peter you're not serious!
I'd made some researches ... and it seems that the Normans didn't use GPS ... ('cause they lived in countries where connection was very bad....)

... no matter, all your ideas give me some ideas for the following!!!

"Normans will come back soon!"
