GB Nassau Infantry Peter´s thread

Nassau 1

Well I think somebody has to start with, so here I am.

I will not start with the figures but with their flag. I want to do it in another way as the Teutonic GB.

So first the flag. I was Lucky to have one of Rofur, so I didn’t had to search for it.

Pole and flag

Well I hope you all like this start. :-D

Next steps will follow soon. ;-)

Nice flag, and good idea. Which figure will you use as a flag bearer?

That's something I don't have decided yet. It will not be a Grenadier. I think it will be one of the reloading guys or the one standing guard. We'll see. ;-)

Hey nice flag Peter.

Tomorrow I post the line officier, the trumpeter and the flag bearer(almost done), I used the realoding guy next to the trumpeter, I think he has the best pose to look as a flag bearer.

Now I've seen it on the sprue  When I was reading your post I was looking on PSR. ;-)

I will take the figure on the left. That's an NCO, and I think it's not so difficult to cut away the gun. 8)

Looking forward to your pictures ;-)

Hey Peter,

for a test is good. I would think the leather must hava a color that looks more like yellow. The green of the uniform is good in my point of view. And I think HäT leave us alone with a lot of flash :angry1:

Did you paint the straps of the backpack and across the chest white or yellow? Hard to see.

Thanks guys

The belts are painted with GW Kommando Khaki. I took this color after a good view on the box art. Maybe I can take pictures of this figure outside one of the following days. ;-)

And yes Jan, a lot of flash :angry3:

The green is great! It was hard to get the right tone of green when I painted mine (ended up using those awful Tamiya paints...).
