@ Susofrick:
In stead of messing up the Hobby Room topic, I decided to make a new one. The song Moskau is really terrible, but that's what makes it fun to listen to. The clips you posted aren't really my kind of music.. I'm more a poprock, pop and dance person. Here some of my favorites atm!
Thanks for the music. And I was right! You hadn't lost your mind! Nor your taste! Dschingis Khan was among the worst that were released when I was a teenager and my stomach still protests! Boney M were pretty bad too, but they had at least partly nude gals. And thanks for the posting Konrad! Good taste there too. Were a little afraid that I could have offended the German friends here. Anyway, grey cold day here and dinner with work this evening (one collegue turned 60, but don't tell).
Benno - <The> What is it?
Susofrick - It is remarkable live music! I too love a rock'n'roll, but now I listen to heavier music more : Therion , Apocalyptica, Empirium, Estetic Fire , Tiamat, Antimater.....
I'm not into youtube.
My daughter of 8 knows more about it than I do.
I use to paint with the computer on some (Dutch) internetradio.
And I don't have time to watch all these video clips.
Rock'n Roll and Punk and a lot of bands i never heard before. I believe that i'm really getting older. But when i paint my knights i love to hear Richard Wagner. You young guys don't know him? Then comes with me now and listen to the real thing. Maybe some find him dull. The word motherfucker does not seem, women are not treated like mud and no blacks or gays are pranked. I'm sorry.
Richard Wagner: born in 1813 in Leipzig,
Composer of a lot of classical music:
Fliegend Holländer (Flying Dutchman),Tristan & Isolde: Opera
Ring der Nibelungen: piece for 3 Days.
And a lot of Overtures and Symphonies and other work.
Died in 1883 in Venice on a heartattack.
Der Adolf (the man with the small moustache) was also a great fan of Wagner.
I am only listening classical music, late romantic in favor (Bruckner, Brahms, Wagner, Mahler), or "light" baroque music (Teleman). And Hörbücher (AudioBooks). This is the best. Music distracts sometimes my concentration.
I like a bit of classical, Bach is my fave, but there ain't nothing like the sound of an american guitar through a british tube amplifier turned right up to get the blood pumping!
