Officers Mess

Hello again folks!

Long time no see, I thought I would call in and let you all know what I'm up to nowadays (although at least a couple of you know already)

I've pretty much given up on the 20mm stuff now as my eyes can't hack it anymore. I've still got my last batch of WIP sitting here on my bench gathering dust, so I haven't officialy given up, I will in theory get the brushes out again one day.

Now I just resort to 1:1 scale stuff.

In the background is my new shop, and as you can probably guess I'm still making the brass guns and costumes.

Welcome back! Well, seen most of it on Facebook, but here is the real world! And as Dali says, you can post bigger scales now. I don't we have that many that work in scale 1:1 so you are needed. :-D

No - I mostly do alt-historical costumes which exist only in my imagination so finding enough combatants to reenact (or enact?) battles is a bit impractical. I have lot of friends who are reenactors though, and I occasionally tag along with them to make up the numbers. This is me as a maori wars british soldier:

Very nice of you to visit us,and post your interesting pictures of dressed up fun.
I no longer dress up for occasions now, but I do dress down in floppy style clothes for painting and for many of my diverse scratch building projects. So as I`m always doing a Suffling Something in my retirement ,I can be as Dressed Down Floppy like as I choose . BB

What I could use is a Big Tin of Corrective Paint where my painting is concerned. BB
