I really like AB, but I only have some small sets of WWII. Your painting is really top notch!

Here are some other photos showing Napoleon with a few new members of his high command all based individually like my 1-72s with some Old Guard Grenadiers as an escort.

Thanks a lot gents. Here`s what I`ve been up to of late. Half a dozen Polish Guard Lancers and their steeds and a charging French Hussar.

The first of my Polish Lancers finished. A few Horse Grenadiers and a 2nd Hussar provide the company.

A few bits and bobs i`m working on at the moment. This first mounted aide de camp was painted some time ago but needed touching up as i hadn`t varnished him.

Here we have an almost finished 2nd Hussar donning a colpack to show off his elite status.

.........and here`s a 7th Hussar nearing completion.

Looking at this photo i can see clearly that i need to touch up his sheepskin saddlecloth as his green trousers have bled into it. In fact i think i`ll put the 2nd Hussar on this horse and put the 7th on a darker bay.

Haven`t been up to much of late with Christmas festivities just around the corner. Hopefully, between Xmas and New Year i might have the chance to pick up a brush and finish a few bits and pieces. Am also hoping to get some big new terrain bases done and appropriate backdrops painted to allow for some greater photographic variety.
These horses are intended for my Polish Lancer Guard Cavalry and in truth i am well on the way to finishing all my 18mm ABs.

2025 was undoubtedly the coldest, wettest most miserable year by far that yours truly has experienced since i first arrived here in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1987. That all changed in mid December when the scorching heat finally showed its face afterwhich I have been largely wallowing in the Brazilian sunshine. That explains why i have been absent from my atelier for the last month or so, completely devoid of all inspiration to paint minis. I think it was a combination of the sunshine and painter`s burnout that had taken its toll. The poor weather explains precisely why 2025 was most certainly my most productive year ever with paints, brushes and wargames figures to hand.

The fruits of my December output are meagre...... a couple of unfinished Polish Guard Lancers, a single Carabinier trooper, and the odd line lancer. Here they are...........

The last photo shows the line lancers with pink facings mixed in with other minis mostly painted long ago but whose bases were done in recent months.......along with one or two Perry 28mms

No stress, please!

You have been very productive, I think. And I always enjoyed pictures of your beloved AB minis. And a month without painting is normal, cause it is a hobby we share here all together. 2025 was a very tempting year for me, so I have done close to nothing on my painting table. I hope this will change now. And I am looking forward to see your next steps when you are ready for painting again!
