I have got more updates - but not sure if they are worth posting - not sure if the build is up to standard and worth posting in here.

This is all coming on very nicely, well done! I like the groundwork, battered wagon/barricade etc.

How many figures do you envisage in this diorama? I can see scope for quite a lot more French as they crowd around the farm and its KGL defenders.

I think I am right in that the garrison did not sally out Ala Sharps Waterloo.

You might consider placing these KGL guys inside the barn area fighting the French assault through the barn and connecting door?

Just a thought as the painting is lovely.

Best wishes,

Chris

Thank you kindly, I still have quite a large group ready to be made / painted and placed - in total I hope to place about 150-200 figures in the dio.

The KGL made a few excursions out of the main entrance to attack the French, bolstered by the charging British Hussars, it was later in the day when the KGL started to run out of ammo and the French attacked in stronger numbers that caused them to stay inside LHS with the front gates locked.

Thank you kindly, the smake edit looks good, a las I am not that good at adding things like that, I aim to keep populting the dio from the different ends - each showing its own story - from a few British Hussars attacking from the Right, to a few injured 5th KGL trying to get shelter by aiming for the stable door in the kitchen garden, to the pile up of dead by the barn entrance - and the French Cuirassiers attacking around the orchard far side hedge,a nd the mass of the French in the orchard and on the road side.

Superb work on that mass of Napoleonics, Mr BB. I hadn't previously seen your Yourtube film, and it makes for some very nice viewing. The hand-built buildings are very good too!

Evening all, more paint being applied to these Three French dudes One is a Fusilier and the other a Voltigeur - epaulettes, collors, cocarde, Shako plaques, buttons and trousers - including a dead Voltigeur.

Three hours work just to this amount..

So the Three 55th Ligne are painted just waiting on some weathering/washes and top coat, in the mean time I have started painting some injured 2nd KGL.

Looks like those last ones can use something against the pain! Poor lads, but very good painted figures!
