This is becoming one fantastic project with lots of figures I have never seen before.
Lots of surprising poses of figures, and good conversions by you.
Well done, good work Gerry. I wish this was my project![]()
You posted some other extremely realistic threads last months. But I prefer to reply on Napoleons period instead of WW2 because of my personal interests and fascinations.
I like to share a very short eye-witness account with you, written down by a surviving Dutch soldier serving in Napoleons army during that terrible retreat from Moscow 'When I saw our men walking through the snow, they did not look human. They were black all over. Their cloths, faces, hands and hair, everything was black because of the smoke of the many fires they had made to keep warm. And because of the dirt they had been sleeping in.'

I can remember back in the day, unpegging my jeans from the cloths line in the garden, and they being frozen solid enough just to stand up on their own.BB

You two should probably not be hanging clothes up to dry outside during a blizzard!
Cossacks look fantastic. Gerry works in many different scales, but which is his favorite and why?
panzerman825 wrote:Epic display. The eye just darts from interesting subplot to subplot. The detail is amazing. Nice work too converting figures....sculpting scarfs , etc.
Keep having fun.
