Panzer Kampfwagen II aus.F(dio) /Tamiya / 1:35

PzKfw II aus.F, with combat crew is my new project. This is my first vehicle in 1:35 scale, my first tank and my first afrikan´s dio. So anythink can happend I started with tank.



This small white pieces, are salt crystal for weathering, I am just trying, so be patience....

New progress and new pictures from building...

Great progress so far. But if I were you I would change the figs with Dragon minis or equal quality figs. The figures in this set are nostalgic but not very good.

That's the style! Throw neatness out of the window, and give it the full throttle look resulting from the rigours of desert warfare.

It is going very slowly.... but little progress is here. I want some accessoriess and I made it by myself. I made gas canisters and wooden boxes. I used PVC board, what use advertising company for their work. Some modelers are making from this boards RC car models(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmDWQCLWmfk). And was paited with acrylic. Next progress will be on the wheels and panzer will be ready.
About figures... I will use figures from this set. Of course, there are better pose from another companies, but ..... who knows, maybe in the future I find some and I fill it to this dio later...

After many days, I continue with figures. First I finished tank commander and soldier will follow him. I don´t know, how I finished their uniforms, because I look everywhere, but there are a lot of colour shades of afrika korps uniform. So please don´t be angry on me, about the colour of uniform See picture.

not even the manufacturers of the feldgrau uniform knew the correct shade, viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17007 and I think this was the same with the tropic uniforms too..
and this colour seems perfect btw.

Dio was done But what was problem? Somebody, I don´t know who, cut off decals from decal arch from kit. Somebody cut off afrikakorps symbol with palm and german cross, also get black tape to cover this symbol in paper of the instruction. I don´t have any spare decals, so I painted it only with my hand See picture... But everything was done and dio with panzer and soldiers, You can see in gallery
