CHERILEA: hollow cast metal, "Lead",Highlander Guard ( 1950`s or early 1960`s )

I figure to paint them, but first I must work on their damaged faces.

Than I can at least get the mustache in the right place on these two inch toy figures. BB

Its been light relief and fun, painting these toys, and if one was to squint the eyes at a distance, say from the Moon,or indeed do put your wrong size specs on,they do look a darn sight better than they looked before. They will never win any prizes for noses that's for sure, but these little fellows are now comfy fit ,and happy to be in my Toy Collection. So apart from touching up on the last right hand figure, this little project is finished. BB

These guys are Britains vintage toy Highlander Infantry. A very cheap toy back in the day when they were made. Paint just slapped on in the factory as you see.

The Kilt at the back the best detail, but no other detail to speak of on these. I thought some might like to see them.
If by chance some more come my way I might paint them for my tiny collection of metal figures. BB

The Pre - War 1930`s Britains: Marching Highlanders I managed to buy on E Bay. Very rare, and so very pricey. So these will be marching upon my table to be painted later for my Toy Collection. BB
