Taking a Rest

Posted by westgaragemodels on 30 Nov 2014, 23:51

Not finished yet, it was one of those projects that went to almost to the end, but because of this and that, never was completed.

The building is from Italeri, the figures are from Dragon and from Tamyia. The Kubelwagon is from Tamyia. The terrain, leaves and flowers are from West Garage Models and Companhia das Miniaturas.

The figures are great, but the scratch build cathedral wall is even better...How do you do it? :winky:

@emperor: The window-ruin is from aItaleri set of building ruins.

This is a great diorama again with a nice and unusual casual scene. I can't see, that it is not finished. So what is missing?

I like the entire scene, and once again a show of your products and how lifelike they look.

Are the figures ended, a good wash to give them some more depth IMHO would do them wonder, and they eyes could get a little touch, but this is me being asking for something that still have not mastered.

Touche......

The figures are still like wax dolls... Needs a wash and some shading. The terrain could be better there are areas that i still want to work a little. But for now it will stay like that on the shelf waiting for a new momentum....

But thank you guys for the kind comments....

Brilliant piece. I always admire folks who can fully complete a scene like this, painting, figure selection and terrain. Great work!

Except it doesn't feature a Schwimmwagen (my all-time favourite thinskin) it's great.
