Prussian hussars

Posted by FISH on 02 Nov 2013, 17:09

Here are a few Prussian hussars converted from Italeri french Hussars.
I gave them new Prussian heads and reworked there pants with 2 part putty. I also used a few Timpo figures with Hat Prussian head swops also.

This dismounted figure was made from an Italeri French horse artillery figure with a Hat prussian head and the coat was taken from an airfix or historex kit??? The arms are from a wuttemberg Hat figure.

The horse dead horse is converted also, I convert quite a few of them to various poses.

Thanks!
The dead and wounded horses I chopped up and reworked a bit and even made 2 horses into one on a couple of them like the dead one in this picture which is half a dead Marx recast horse and the top half of an Italeri horse with a new 2 part putty saddle.

The dead Prussian line trooper is a Hat figure converted into a dead figure, a did up a whole bunch of Prussian Hat conversions into many different poses, dead/wounded, artillery crews and many others. I,ll post some pics of those at some point, that was a fun project.
