Getting them dressed. I would like to create a group of men with a few different clothes, as it was on campaign, I think.

Only the basic color:

Well done so far. I really like the look of this figures. I especially like the brim on the shako, looks realistic to my eye. Really looking forward to this project.

Thank you all for your interest. Here a small update: I have washed and shaded the clothes and finally today painted the boots.

There is more to come maybe tomorrow night.

The gaiters

And I painted the base for all the straps.

It took me 2 hours of painting and the whole film Apollo 13 :-D

Great painted figures so far Jan!

I'm a little bit confused about the topic title and the long plume on the hats. I think when they have this long plume, they should be Chasseurs of the Middle Guard or Voltigeurs from the Young Guard.
Just my opinion and I can be wrong, but that's what I have found as information in the book armies at Waterloo. :?

Hello Peter,

I referred to the informations in the book of Rousselot.
here you can see that they wear a plume as well as the Fussilier Chasseurs. But the Chasseurs had a plume red over green.
