Wolsung Lord James Fouley WIP 1 + 2 + Finished (23/09/13)

Posted by Peter on 10 Sep 2013, 18:19

I bought myself a 28 mm figure at Crisis last year. I bought this with a special purpose. Here you see it in blue colour, but I will paint it pink for "Breast Cancer Fundraising 2012 " at the Tales of a Tabletop Skirmisher blog. It's for the good cause, and I wanted to give them a little help from my side.
It's from http://www.microartstudio.com and is called "Wolsung Lord James Foley".

Here are the first pictures of this challenge for me. As I thought it is very hard for me to paint this figure. But I have learned something. Whatever the size is paint in your own style. I've tried something else but it didn't work. What? The face on this one didn't came out as I wanted and I repainted it.

But have a look at the pictures, and then you can make your own opinion.

Enjoy the pictures!

As I said in the beginning of this project, it wasn't easy for me to paint him. And the most problems I had was with the bird on his arm. Finally I painted that one with about eight colours I think.

Belts an other things painted with GW Shining Gold.

I miss some shadows on his coat... or it is just because of bright lights?
Anyway, great job Peter

Thanks Dalibor and Jan!

Yes, he could have used some more shading but I didn't want to spoil the pink colour.

Forgot to tell but he went away for 10 English Pounds! ;-)
