Its because they come from a planet partly ruled by the Germanic Federation in the game background.

Plus its sci-fi, so not real... So anything goes!

Looks funny! I also recognized the Bundeswehr carplate. Is it just for fun or does it play a roll in the "history" of this vehicles? ;-)

The setting is a former colony of the Germanic Federation... In our Sci-Fi setting they have colonised a number of planets.
