Celtic warrior, 54 mm Fer miniatures.

Hi all, A classic figure by Raul Garcia Latorre, the Celtic warrior at 54mm scale.
Painted with acrylics and oils using a brush and airbrush.

WOW Santi, I`ve always loved this sculpt from your compatriot RG Latorre and you`ve more than done the sculpt full justice with a delightful paint job. Would have liked to have seen your painted shield and i really like the less flambouyant handling of his trews than the version on the box art (if I remember rightly which had some checkered effect that to me always felt over the top). As someone else commented your bronze helmet is terrific (any tips on how you painted it would be most welcome) as indeed are the very convincing cuts to his skin. However, i did notice you had forgotten to paint his belt buckle, and some shading on the top of your sword hilt could have given a more 3 dimensional look. I also loved your basework which i think is still an often neglected element to many beautifully painted miniatures but that can certainly not be said here. As mentioned previously you could have spoilt us with a few extra photos to impress us even more.
