TIM-MEE - Cowboy 1

And we stay in the Wild West. This time a cowboy of the brand TIM-MEE of Germany. Not sure how many different cowboys there are. I have knowledge of five, but there might be more. The figure painted up very nicely but I don't know what they did with the mould. It looks like he is badly glued together from two parts. Cutting wasn't a solution. I would have ruined the whole figure. Let's have a look at him.

Another great figure for your Wild West collection, Peter. I particularly love his Winchester rifle.

i am so very,very fond of back in the day toy cowboy figers.
Me-a-nall Pards! After all in my case i could borrow his socks. Yuck!

TIM-MEE... Like many before and after him, he is a one part figure produced in a two part metal mold on an air pressure hot plastic injection moulding machine. Looking at his hat, there we have a clasic example of a figure produced by the two part mold system being slightly out of line. However in my time line of longago he would've been great for little me to play with.
Stupendous painting on this one Peter, especially the eyes.

@Rich: I think it was the angle of the camera I think that makes him look odd with a big head.

@Santi: sometimes the details on the figure and in this case the rifle invites you to do something special in painting.

@Paul: thank you for the explanation about the mould. Very interesting! And I'm getting better in painting eyes. A couple of hundred more and it will be perfect!

Yes I painted the metal parts first black and then I added the metal colors. It gives a very nice effect that I like.
