O.K at Vapnartak last weekend I decided to indulge my passion for WW1 even further than the recent purchase of some aeroplanes and start wargaming a new scale with tanks and figures. I have just painted the first tank- but tell me folks for fun- what scale have I moved to?

Looks like either 6mm or 10mm looking at the tank tracks, I ,ove 6mm myself and have lots of stuff for it from Baccus

Actually I was thinking again, in 6mm the only people who do an AV7 is Scotia I think, and in 10mm Pendraken do one, irregular might do one as well though in 6mm , so I shall plump for 6mm

Hmm thinking again, you said you bought planes as well Pendraken dont do a lot of aircraft but irregular do, I'm sure Irregular were at theshow so I think its Irregular 6mm you've gone for

Yes you are indeed correct Rafa 10mm- Pendraken- I thought I t was such a great model for £1.50! I got two and 2 Mk IV tanks. The miniture planes are Wings of War pre painted in 1/144- do a bit of a cheat there!

I was very impressed by the sculpting all round. I painted it up based on this. I have no idea how accurate it is- i just liked the paint job. (not my usual style but it was quite refreshing to not worry about the accuracy!

They would if you used the glue in ones provided, but given it is one piece soft resin I just cut some sewing pins about 20mm long and pushed them in untill there was 3mm stuck out- that way they are metal and stuck right in there!

Tommorow I will photograph the other A7V and the two MK IV i have just finished. They only take about !/2 hour each being small and easy to paint!

I found a new favourite!
