German Grenadiers in Winter Uniforms

I know, you didn't expect from me to paint WW2 figures. But hey, it was nice break from fantasy and everything else.

Very good figures, and very well painted as well!

I like the snow effects on the bases, how have you done this?

For the snow I used AK Snow (microballoons) mixed with Liquitex mat medium and few drops of water.

Very nice paintjob, Dalibor. Which brand are they? There is one helmet that looks a little strange to me. It is the first picture, second figure on the left.

Yep…… these are indeed beautifully painted figures. Also loved the bases….. this snow of yours looks like the real thing.
Just out of curiosity do you fully assemble your figures before painting cos there appears to be lots of fiddly little pieces that might easily get in the way?

Helmet is covered in white clothing. Yes, it looks strange but I haven't changed anything.
