They look really cool, great paintjob! I like in particular the dirt and patina of this "campaign look", seems much more convincing to me than a clean "direct from the factory look".

Finally got round to painting some more Gauls........still in the early stages and haven`tyet committed to my colours. Definitely think earthy tones will most probably be where i end up but let`s just see what happens.....
As you can tell by now am not a fan of shield adhesives. I respect those who wargame and don`t have time to paint shields individually but it`s not my case. This shield has been painted but only when fully dry will i start to add some wear and tear, battle damage and maybe if i can find the courage some blood splatters.
Right now am researching body paint because as they are they`re looking too nice to tackle the mighty Roman Army. With plenty of blue body paint am sure they`ll look much more terrifying...........

The Romans looked brilliant, k.b., but these Gauls are well on their way to matching them, if not surpassing them.
