New goal: 350 Romains

Posted by Dad's Army on 26 Jun 2020, 09:34

As you know I don't post much of my work here, and painting Asterix figures isn't what you all like to see every time. But once in a while when I got a new goal, I would like to scream it out to the world hahaha.
For FIGZ I give myself every year a goal of 50 new Romains, last year I done 100 and had 250 on FIGZ.
This year I should have 300, but I was able to make 100 as well... so 350 :notworthy:
And because there is no FIGZ this year, I show them here and on my blog of course.

I am happy to see my army grow like this, and hope to be able to show them on a show next year again!

More on my BLOG

If you can help me find more Romains at a reasonable price, please let me know!

This is awesome! In a little while, if you can keep that speed, you have a full legion with 5000 men...

hahaha, I wish but they are hard to find, that's my greatest problem :(
Some folks sell them for to high prices, so I am happy every time I can find a few on the internet at normal prices.
But let's call that a hobby as well.

How do you know that Remco? You've counted the legs and then divided that number with 2?

I could never have imagined that there were so many Romans of this kind, Dad's Army , and that they were owned by one only person...you.

But, looking in detail, I can identify some infiltrates between the Romans...aren't there Egyptian Cleopatra's Guards in the first lines? :winky:

They are really spectacular, just like Konrad's units.

My best congratulations for both.

Santi.

Impressive army, Remco! Very nice. I will allways keep my eyes open, when I have a chance to get figs on a flee-market, I will buy them for you again! You will have a lot of fans again on the next fair, we attend.

 LOL yeah count 320, and see all shields are fake :P :P
Impressive work my friend!

Yeah Santi, You have seen right!
Because the amount of different Romain solders is so low, I use the Egyptian as well.
This makes it the first Legion army, LOL
I have to do this, otherwise i can't find enough available figures..

They are hard to find these days, but know you will look for me Jan, thanks.
And yes more young mothers will be bending over to see next time
