Hi
Guys
i just ordered the black stuff above in the Link,
as i need it for my ship to ship samples.
Fire at Will, kindly warned me about that soft easy stuff from WarLord Games
and being not stupid i pulled some of it to bits as easy as a child could or would.
BB,did look stupid to Bella, while he was a doing of it.
It certainly breaks to pieces very easily.
Well as easy as tearing paper anyway.
In the meantime i've used the white poly thread i bought earlier.
A good third of the rigging has been easily done.
In spite of my hands shaking as if i were freezing cold.
Well it was rather chilly BB.
I'm pleased with this odd look it has about it
and presently it is my best effort.
You must not say effort on this Forum.
It ain't that kind of F, IT, WingNut.
My dear Mother Grace Liddy Howes,
would always read to me as a child.
All BB's School Reports read this way...
Could do better!
My arts and craft projects are a therapy i need,
as is the photography and the writing of them.
i have just helped my Mrs B,
with the ironing out of bed sheets,
by not trying to do them myself.
One has to know ones own limitations.
and she understands mine.
This first sample is a ship i repaired due to Silly Me,
sticking the mainmast on the wrong way.
So i had to break it off at its bottom
and re-glue it facing the correct way.
i cut two tiny support pieces from the sprue.
and it is these front and back at the bottom of the mast
that made this repair possible.
The Spanker Sail was fixed into place and the Yard Arm is now fully supported by the rigging.
The next step was sticking all the sails onto the masts, before extra darker rigging can take place.
PLAYING WITH SUPER GLUE CAN BE AN AWFUL BIG ADVENTURE
Awkwardly i stuck the main sails in place.
i found this even more fiddle than threading every thing a me jig...
that had dire need of little Me...
to do each and every one.
Well there is no one else crazy enough to do it.
Enjoy Yourself...
It's Later Than...
You Think!
This is a song concerning a little fellow of heart.
who was determined to stay happy,
he being a football clown of fame.
he brought it to many a football match..
Out of my comfit zone and with Two 3rds of sail and rigging attached made this learning curb possible.
More later.
