28mm Arab cavalry

Posted by sowabud on 31 May 2020, 13:08

The figures come from the HAT 28019 El Cid Andalusian Heavy Cavalry set and HAT 28029 Almoravid Light Cavalry, but all have their heads replaced with those from the Gripping Beast plastic Arabs. Some also got a new weapon. HAT figurines are nice but too proportional and anatomical, so they do not match the metal or other plastic 28mm figurines that have non-anatomically too large heads. After head "transplantation", there is practically no difference. In the next sets, I will try to diversify the weapons even more.

I love this kind of figures because you can paint them in so much colors as you want! And you did a great job on these!

Now I want to paint their smaller brothers in 1/72. Where did I put them??? ;-)
