To my mind this is something very special as although the modelling, painting etc is excellent the scene feels ‘ alive’.

The bored looks, the body language of fatigue, cold and a repetitious job all lift from the scene like a rare perfume.

Absolutely wonderful.

I am quite happy that it is in 28mm and not in 1/72 as I open the side by the section "latest posts".

Superb painting, weathering.

Only the steel helmet of the last, highest soldier look in shape to me a bit different (fourth pic).

Top class work.
