Luis--

You are so good at painting figures that it is actually scary.

Stunning Luis! Incredible detail can only be a labor of love. Painting is superb as BlueFalchion mentioned, very realistically I might add as most have a nicely weathered look about them. 3 1/2 years very well spent sir! I salute your skills, patience and persistence to accomplish such a task. What a showpiece! I save smilies only for very special pieces.

A visually impressive montage featuring superbly painted figures and wonderful compositions.

Historically it may seem strange but the overall impression is a labour of love.

Luis you have a gift for breathing life into your figures.

Best wishes,

Chris

3 1/2 years ... a long time.
But the result speaks for itself and every minute you invested in the project was worth it.

I can only agree with my prescribers.
Your representation and interpretation of the battle of waterloo are master class in every respect.
Not only the painting of the figures but also the abundance of Details
and the landscaping are absolutely brilliant.
How wrote C M Dodson so nicely..

That´s what figures are made for….I have never seen such an amount of figures on one diorama in this quality.

Absolutely magnificent! The painting of the figures is just beautiful, the groundwork and composition are terrific, and if you've compressed time and geography a bit to get a whole battle into a single scene, that's fine, it looks great!

This is the C19th version "Where's Welly". Some of the close up pics make it a bit easy though. :(
