Lancer reg nr 2 1841-1849 (54 mm)

Posted by paul haring on 24 Feb 2020, 16:04

This miniature is from the '200 jaar Nederlandse krijgsmacht'van de Nederlandse Stichting voor Modelfiguren. ( not available anymore).
Painting is done in acrylics: Valejo, Citadel and Revell. Painting a metal figure is different from plastic figures like Airfix. Details are not that sharp ( Maybe it does with the more expensive figures...)
I had to add the details like aguilettes. I made them from twisted copperwire.

Very nicely done sir! Adding the aguilettes using wire is a great touch and fills out the figure. Excellent work.

Interesting to see a figure from a period not so popular. Very nice paintjob again!

Well, this isn’t airfix. Unlike my other work this one is metal. So no cutting and hacking, just paint and adding details
